Walter Crane was a phenomenal and extremely prolific
English artist and book illustrator who lived and worked
during the last half of the 19th century and up to 1915.
He is considered to be the most influential children’s
book creator of his generation along with Randolph
Caldecott and Kate Greenaway. You will love the
imaginative, colorful and rich illustrations in this
series.
Each book is at least 18 front and back pages of full,
readable text in classical font, and full color illustrations. The books
stand a
mere 1" high including the cover and storage
sleeve.

The American McLoughlin Brothers owned a technically
innovative publishing house between 1829-1920 and
produced beautiful, unparalleled quality illustrated
children’s books, paper-engineered toys, games and
valentines. In the late 1800s they opened the largest
color publishing factory and became pioneers of
chromolithography.
Please
note each book is at least 12-16 front and back pages of
full, readable text in classical font and color
