Rooster Motif Kitchen Canisters
The following will help you assemble the kitchen canisters that are included in the h1is010 Rooster Motif Kitchen Kit.

1. Cut all pieces and follow black guide lines on long panels.

If you are unsure of yourself and want a practice piece first, merely trace the unit on plain paper before cutting pieces. Make a practice unit with the plain trace.

2. Fold tabs and canister lip linings. See "Ann's Tool Box" tutorial to see how to make a "folding device" like the one in the photo here.

3. Get a good curve on each piece by wrapping tightly on a slender cylindrical item. In this case I used a slender paint brush handle. This keeps sharp corners from occurring during assembly.

4. Glue the side tabs on both the canister cylinders and the lid cylinders. Allow to dry thoroughly.

5. Here you see I use a pair of tweezers to get a good clean bond.

6. Glue down the lip lining panels. Press firmly with tweezers in order to get a nice flat and thin edge.

7. Glue the bottoms on each canister. I place glue on the bottom circle rather than the tabs. The yellow side is placed upwards. This makes an uneven edge less noticeable. Trim if required

8. Glue the canister tops on each canister. Again, place the glue to the top rather than the tabs. The decorations should be positioned right and left, and the canister lid's seam should run up the back.

9. Place a small dot of glue to the middle of the canister lid. Use tweezers to drop a black bead into position as a lid handle.

10. Here is how the finished canister should look.
