It is recommended
that you visit the Ann's
Toolbox tutorial for the fundamentals of
assembling Paper Minis or any paper crafts.
1. Cut out and
fold pieces.
2. Paint-glue
the red eaves of the roof piece to its blank
surface.
3. Take the exterior
piece of the house as shown.
4. Glue the bottom to the exterior piece of cottage.
Tabs must be paint-glued to the inside.
5. Take the interior
piece of the cottage and fold upward and paint-glue
the floor tabs to the inside of the interior. The
tabs match the wall moulding.
When dry, slide the
interior into the exterior shell to see the fit.
6. This step requires
the glue stick so the walls will not be warped.
Spread the glue stick to all interior blank surfaces
of the exterior house shell.
7. Carefully
slide the interior shell against the glue. Make sure
that contact is made at every point.
8. Paint-glue the
cottage finishing-edges. Wrap the finishing-edges
around to the exterior shell.
9. Use the metal ruler
to fold the roof piece at each red junction.
10. Check the
fit then methodically paint-glue the roof piece to
the cottage tabs.
11. This is how the
cottage should look at this point.
12. Paint-glue the
side tab of the tall chimney piece and press into
place. Paint-glue and press the tabs to make an open
box for the chimney's top piece.
13. Finish the
chimney top piece by folding down the raw edges. You
may paint-glue these edges in place.
14. Paint-glue the
chimney top piece to the chimney tall piece. Glue
the tabs at its base to the roof and hold in place
until it stays put.
15. Not used
16. Fit the ceiling
piece. Remember to fold at logical points. Using the
glue stick, glue in place beginning from the back of
the cottage.
17. This is how
the cottage should look at this point.
