Required tools and supplies:

• X-acto knife and fresh blade
• A thin metal straight-edge ruler. Make clean creases by pressing against edge of the ruler.
• Tweezers
• Cutting mat
• Detailing scissors
• Glue stick
• Fast-grab, quick-dry white craft glue that dries clear
• Small piece of aluminum foil to use as a glue pot
• Artist's paint brush to apply glue
• Small black office clip

Desk Blotter Assembly:

1. Fold the large blotter piece carefully against a straight-edge along all four sides. Glue in place so that you end up with a rectangle with finished edges.

2. Fold a corner piece at the 3 points as indicated. You will end with a triangular piece. Repeat for all 3 remaining corners.

3. Slip a corner piece onto the flat corner of the blotter piece. Glue in place. Do the same for other corners.
