Generic Hand-held Paddle Fan Assembly

Assembly may differ slightly if handle is a single piece of wood sandwiched in-between paper panels or if two pieces of wood are used for a handle sandwiching the paper, as in the photos below.
 

Required tools and supplies:

  • X-acto knife and fresh blade
  • Tweezers
  • Good cutting mat
  • Detailing scissors
  • Fast-grab, quick-dry white craft glue that dries clear
  • Quick-dry glue that bonds metal and glass
  • Small piece of aluminum foil to use as a glue pot
  • Artist's paint brush to apply craft glue
  • Craft paint for the handle, if desired (sample uses gloss black craft paint)
