blade
- A true cutting mat

to paint on glue

This will act as your glue pot
- Scissors
- Small detailing scissors,
a.k.a. as embroidery snips
- Tweezers
- Cotton Swab
Masks: These are easy,
merely cut them out and glue thick thread to each side of mask. Tie
tight enough to make mask curve slightly. This gives a nice
dimension for display purposes.
Trick-or-Treat Bags: Fold bag into shape.
2. Use an artist’s brush and paint
glue to blank side of long tab found on side of tote bag. Press
tight to inside surface of bag using a swab and/or tweezers.
3. Dab a little glue to the tabs
found on the base of the bag and press closed. Place on firm surface
and use a swab to press on tabs.
4. Cut two handles per bag out of
enclosed ribbon. Glue one end to inner surface of first bag.
Allow it to glue, then glue the other end in place. Repeat for all
handles.
Plates: fold upwards all four sides of plates, and pinch
corners.
Cups: Cut out pieces. Use an
X-acto blade tool to cut notches at the cup base.
2. Fold notched tabs at a 90 degree
angle to cup.
3. Glue side tab of cup.
4. Glue round disk (color side up)
to notched tabs at base of cup.
Invitation Envelopes: Fold invitations in half. To form an
envelope, take one card and center envelope over it. Methodically
fold each pointed panel to the card’s back side. This will give you
a perfectly fitted card and envelope. Secure envelope with a couple
of dots of glue.
Witch Hats: Place a triangle of glue to one end of hat.
Wrap other end over in such a way that the bottom edge of the hat is
flat.
Stand-up Table Decoration: Fold item in half with blank
sides together and fold the two blue strips at the base.
2. Glue the two blue strips
together.
