Required tools and supplies:

  • X-acto knife and fresh blade
  • Metal straight-edge ruler to use to press against and make perfect creases
  • Tweezers
  • Cutting mat
  • Detailing scissors
  • Fast-grab, quick-dry white craft glue that dries clear
  • Small piece of aluminum foil to use as a glue pot
  • Artist's paint brush to apply glue

1. Fold both pieces in half along the length.

2.  Glue blank sides together of unit's strut.

3.  Fold both pieces as shown here.

4.  Glue blank sides together of main shelf piece.

5.  Start to fold middle portion in half. Place strut end sandwiched at tic marks into end panels.


6.  Repeat strut sandwich step for other strut end.

7.   Press and form as glue dries.

8.  Trim around end panel arches.

9. Finished table top shelf unit with Paper Minis children's books.
