Small good

Double-sided

1. Cut out the
four units from the pattern page.
2. Strategically place
pieces of double-sided tape to the backs of the four
pattern units. Each piece that will be cut will
require a small surface of tape. In my case I
straddled tape across multiple pattern pieces.
3. Position the
pattern units as shown in the photo. You will want
to align all four units on your wood before cutting
to ensure that you use the wood as supplied. Press
units firmly to adhere tape to the wood surface.
4. Use a metal
straight edge to help with cutting pieces. Cut out
one unit at a time.
5. Remove patterns
from wood.
6. Use the tip of the
knife to remove unwanted tape remaining on the wood
pieces.
7. Place a piece of
waxed paper over your work surface. Glue crate end
as shown. Ensure that the end is perpendicular to
the crate base.
8. Glue second crate
end. Allow to dry and check periodically to ensure
ends remain perpendicular.
Peel crates from waxed
paper.
9. Glue larger strut
to the base of one crate side. Repeat for other side
and allow to dry.
10. Glue thinner strut
to the side as shown allow to dry and repeat for
other side.
11. Cut out the
crate labels and paint glue to crate flat end using
an artist's paint brush.
12. Adhere the first
crate label to crate end. Repeat for other crate
end.
