unparalleled level of color and print quality on the finest
papers. The miniature detail is so defined the signature thimble is placed in each photo as proof
of scale.
None of the pre-printed Paper Minis products need to be
sealed or sprayed. For your information the printed surfaces
have been tested under running water and allowed to air dry.
The print surface is colorfast and does not run. This is
important to know if you want to "antique" your Paper Mini.
However, be careful to not unnecessarily saturate, which
will cause a slight ripple in the paper surface.

bc204 ~ Les Très
Riches Heures du Jean, (1:12)
Duc de Berry (Abridged)
Paintings by the Limbourg Brothers (1413)
Compiled and Written by Ann Lenore Vanture
Size: 23mmwx6mmdx30mmh
Book 10
Description: The Duc's Book of Hours is
an abridged version of the brothers Limbourg’s
full-scale manuscript of miniature illuminations. The mini book has a leatherette cover, patterned
end-boards, laminated box sleeve and dust
jacket. The 15 full-page paintings selected for the Paper
Minis edition are unrivaled masterpieces of that
period of art. Twelve of the paintings represent the
activities and landscapes inherent to each of the
twelve months of the year in France at that era. Fall in love with the gem like colors
and compositions of peasants at work, royalty at
play and the castles they lived in...literally the
paint used on the original works was made of crushed
gem stones!
To add interest to this book, I have written a
couple pages of background information on the
artists and the Duc, and a page of facts and
description for each painting. Font faces Calligraph
and Cloister Black were selected for their ability
to mirror the historical style of the period.
