12"~14" Fashion Doll Scale (1:6) Paper Minis
Easy-to-Make Pre-Printed Kits |

Each miniature Paper Minis™ is individually printed to achieve an
unparalleled level of color and print quality on the finest
papers. The miniature detail is so defined the signature thimble is placed in each photo as proof
of scale.
None of the pre-printed Paper Minis products needs to be
sealed or sprayed. For your information the printed surfaces
have been tested under running water and allowed to air dry.
The print surface is colorfast and does not run. This is
important to know if you want to "antique" your Paper Mini.
However, be careful to not unnecessarily saturate, which
will cause a slight ripple in the paper surface.
Most designs are very easy to
assemble. Nevertheless, you may visit the on-line library of tutorials and many photo
tutorials.
Note: sizes of
miniatures are given in millimeters for accuracy. For your
information 1"=25.4 mm

Description: Tobacco companies
were the first to generate souvenir
cards for their products, similar to the
baseball-player cards packed with bubble
gum today. A souvenir album of the type
here, published by a cigarette company,
was an extension of the purchasing
incentive of cards. The cards and albums
were purchased with 75 to 100 coupons
packed with cigarettes back in the day.
This particular album was issued about
1889 with the images of card series
Costumes of all Nations. The series
depicts popular actors and actresses of
the time dressed in indigenous or ethnic
costumes. Gorgeous illustrated pages
show the card faces. To complement the
album’s “cards” were the full-page
illustrations of super-famous actresses
such as Lillian Russell and Lily
Langtree. The chromolithography printing
of the source album was preformed by
Knapp Litho., and is far scarcer than
the individual cards.

embroidery and china patterns. Each page

photos or adverts she might see over time. Stage a
miniature bedroom with a lovely wedding gown
standing in the room, trousseau in a hope chest and
planner pages strewn about on furniture.

labor of love for me! Kit includes everything you need to make the
Dream House and it's contents, including black vinyl
handle and tiny velcro closures.

This rounds out the Homage to Barbie at 50
collection. Carry case is a recreation of my very
own childhood case. Design is such you can remove
the faux doll and drawer inserts and make your own
polymer dolls and accessories (send me a photo when
you are done! :))
Kit comes with
laminated case construction lined with original pink
floral design. Outer and inner artwork is identical
to the original and all text logos have been
re-created for sharpness and definition. Kit also
comes with: compartments for dolls plus two
removable faux doll inserts; three working drawers,
two have optional inserts to look filled with
accessories; leatherette handle with wire hardware;
thicker wire for three optional clothes fixtures;
Velcro dot for case closure; Four flat vintage
