ENTRY #5
Title: Jeweled Angel Tree Topper

Elizabeth Bramkamp
Gig Harbor, Washington, USA

I used a tiny butterfly charm for the wings and found beads which were light and lacy and shaped like a cone, which I used for the dress. I used fishing line to tie a silver spacer thru a pearl then through the dress to put her all together. I left the fishing line on in the photo so you could see the construction. I added a bit of 'bling' because why not?

Title: Clothes Pin Soldier
Pam Rashilla
Ligonier, Pennsylvania, USA

I hand-carved the wooden clothespins from cocktail picks, painted them, and added the extras.  In the case of Santa, he has a red silk cap and hand applied “fur” on his coat and hat and a “real” beard.  He also has a cloth sack full of “toys”.

The soldier has a pom pom helmet embellished with feathers and gold beads.  Santa measures only 5/8” tall and the soldier is 3/4” tall to the top of his helmet.
