The following is
the current catalogue of fine art paintings by
Elizabeth Calderon. You may remember her as the
artisan who handcrafts the pre-assembled Paper Minis
sets sprinkled through the web pages under
"Dollhouse Scale" found in the bar
menu to the left. Her paintings have incredible
detail and texture, perhaps due to the years of
hand-painting grains of rice for tourists in Lima,
Peru. Make sure you examine the "closer view" links
to take in the awe-inspiring detail of each work of
art.
Each painting is painted--not printed--on canvas!
The paintings are framed and are adhered with
acid-free materials. A wire for hanging is affixed
to the wood backing of each
framed piece. The frames are metal and hand-painted
and burnished for an authentic antique look.
