       The American McLoughlin Brothers' owned a technically innovative publishing house between 1829-1920 and produced beautiful, unparalleled quality illustrated children’s books, paper-engineered toys, games and valentines. In the late 1800s they opened the largest color publishing factory and became pioneers of chromolithography. At one point during that time they employed an army of 75 superlative illustrators. I have admired their chromolithographic works for many years and wanted to pay my respects to their wonderful body of work...and here is my opportunity! This collection consists of 24 of their publications condensed into tiny 1:12 scale jewels. Each stands a mere 1" high including the cover and laminated storage sleeve. All text content has been re-typeset at an unbelievable and readable 1.2-2 point using several classical serif fonts!

        Each volume's illustrations have been meticulously edited in order to convey the beauty of the luscious chromolithographic artwork when it was new more than a century ago. All text has been typeset where possible for best clarity and resolution at this tiny size. Each book contains 12-16 pages of readable text and illustrations.
