Description: The largest of the two fully-lined octagonal hat boxes is 23mmhx30mmw.  I prefer the hat boxes without the bows, however the kit does come with the pink, burgundy and dark green 100% silk for you to make bow ties. Also included in the kit and not shown in the photo is off-white tissue stuffing. The shoes are painted black, but you are welcome to paint or decorate them as you please. These shoes fit perfectly in the partially lined shoe box shown in the photo.

The graphic images were certainly beautiful in the 1800's and you can add an air of yesteryear to your setting with these beauties.  The wood and patterns to make the crates are included with the kit. Wood can be cut with an x-acto knife. Double-sided tape is needed for holding patterns against wood.

The Cosmopolitan Fashion Model Paper Pattern Co.'s name was borrowed to make these pretend sets along with true antique fashion sketches and Delineator illustrations. Description: The two reproduction samplers are from English sisters Ann and Caroline Massey circa 1800. As well the kit includes: authentic two-sided Corticelli thread advertisement cards; two notion cards –  snaps and buttons; tape measure is to-scale in inches; six bias tape packets are designed from an authentic antique label. As they are, the look is very real with the labels separate from the bias tape card, but if you prefer you may take 1/16" ribbon (not included) and wrap the cards before adhering the labels. Selected items have been laminated for durability and realism.

Description: Corticelli company was a big name in the industry back then, and they certainly didn't scrimp on artwork! Paper Minis really takes advantage and highlights that fact on many of the kit miniatures. The cute dog painting is used here as the kit's focal point on the thread storage box (the box is partially lined). The spools are constructed to give you some flexibility, you may leave as is with fake thread or wind some real thread over the spools. Note the authentic spool labels...art on the labels!! Of course the kit has two authentic works of art for the needle cases. Selected items have been laminated for durability and realism.

Use them as decorations–adhere to suitcases or to the little travel trunk. The travel trunk is fully lined and comes replete with faux antique hardware and wood accents, plus all the patina of an old antique trunk.
Miscellaneous travel items include 12 vintage 2-sided travel postcards, each one has  a readable description of landmarks on reverse side. There are three fanfold travel pictorial souvenirs, one of which is a reproduction of the 1933 World’s Fair souvenir flip booklet of illustrations of visitor sites. To top off the collection, there are two vintage 1930’s airline brochures; one each for United and Delta.
